I believe that the average person is grossly over-taxed with a tax burden that reduces the chance of achieving the "American Dream."

I will always strongly protect our Second Ammendment which is up for debate once again in front of the Supreme Court.

I am a patriot. I do not believe in amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I believe in a smaller, less-intrusive federal government superceded by state and individual rights.

I applaud Governor Sanford for his letter to Michael Chertoff explaining to him that, by law, South Carolina can not and will not comply with the Real ID act.

I believe that parents best know how and where to educate their children. Tax credits that would return the parents' money to their pockets, would afford the option of school choice to the parents.

To me, Eminent Domain is the most simple issue out there. Many laws are on the books to discourage and punish individuals for theft, and the same laws should apply to the government.
